Job summary

Cal-Am Properties Inc. is seeking an experienced Cook to prepare and direct the preparation of food, ensuring sanitation standards and adherence to recipes. AZ Food Handler’s license must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

The role runs 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with weekend coverage required and a schedule that includes days off as posted. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Restaurant Manager, ensuring timely availability of supplies, maintaining a clean kitchen, and preparing food

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and directing food following established recipes and standards.
• Willing to obtain AZ Food Handler license within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. shifts with weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs preparation of food using established procedures and systems.
• Determines amount and type of food and supplies required based on daily specials and menu items.
• Coordinates with Restaurant Manager to ensure availability of supplies in time for preparation.
• Sets steam table and serves or ensures proper serving of food for dining room.
• Maintains sanitation standards and personal hygiene.
