Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society in Auburn, NE is seeking a Cook/Kitchen Attendant to prepare and serve meals for patients and residents in a not-for-profit, Christian environment. This full-time role offers an evening shift, a 32-hour work week, and a competitive hourly salary.

Responsibilities include following recipes, HACCP guidelines, maintaining sanitation, operating kitchen equipment, and collaborating with staff to ensure high-quality meals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending on location requirements.
• Valid Driver's License may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide the highest quality and safest food to patients/residents, staff and guests.
• Follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines for food preparation and storage.
• Maintain sanitation, labeling and storage of food, equipment and supplies.
• Operate kitchen equipment and collaborate with internal customers and team members.
