Job summary

Chestnut Hill Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wyndmoor, PA, seeks a Nursing Home Cook for a 6am-2pm shift. You will prepare meals meeting residents' dietary needs, assist in menu planning, and maintain a clean kitchen per safety guidelines.

You will collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely, high-quality meals and manage inventory while building positive relationships with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare food service preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents, adhering to dietary restrictions and nutritional needs.
• Assist in menu planning and food preparation to ensure meals are appealing.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen following food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely delivery of meals to high standards.
• Participate in inventory management and ordering of supplies and ingredients.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
