Embassy Suites Jacksonville is seeking an Evening Cook to join our culinary team. You will prepare a variety of dishes, ensure quality and presentation, and uphold hotel standards while working evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a professional kitchen, a food handler's certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel kitchen with strong teamwork and attention to detail.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Food handler’s certification or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel kitchen and collaborate with a team.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes including appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
• Ensure dishes are presented attractively and meet quality standards.
• Maintain organized and efficient kitchen operations, including food storage and cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory, assist with stock rotation and ordering when needed.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with sous chefs, line cooks, and dishwashers for smooth operations.
• Be flexible with tasks and shifts to meet hotel needs.
