Job summary

Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City, IA is seeking a Cook for the afternoon shift (12pm-7:30pm), part-time. You will prepare meals, ensure dietary needs are met, and help provide residents with high-quality dining experiences.

No advanced education required beyond 10th grade; prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferred, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate. This role offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth grade education is required.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

As a Dietary Team Member you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Southfield Wellness Community by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.
