Job summary

Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time Cook for day shifts to join our friendly, caring team. You will prepare meals that meet residents' dietary needs and maintain high standards of quality and safety in a skilled nursing setting.

Prior SNF foodservice experience is preferred, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate. A tenth-grade education is required, and we offer competitive wages and benefits including a 401K plan and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable but not required; willingness to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

As a Cook you will provide residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of food quality they have grown to expect at Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center by preparing and ensuring residents receive the appropriate food items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and following recipes for preparing large volumes of food. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:
