Atlanta Mission in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Community Living Assistant for the 2nd Shift (3:30pm-12am), Sunday-Thursday, to help create a safe, supportive living environment for residents at My Sisters House.

The role emphasizes supervision, crisis de-escalation, client support, documentation in Salesforce and Microsoft Office, and compassionate engagement to foster dignity and stability.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts and respond to crises.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multitasking.
• High energy with ability to engage and motivate others.
• Strong communication; read and interpret safety and procedure documents.
• Write clear reports; speak effectively before groups.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; willing to use Salesforce for documentation.
• Experience in residential or community living programs.
• Training or experience in trauma-informed care or working with vulnerable populations.
• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client activity to ensure safety and compliance with house rules.
• Provide visible support in key areas (e.g., dining hall) and conduct room checks.
• Respond to incidents; escalate safety or behavioral concerns as needed.
• Conduct orientation for new clients and serve as point of contact for daily needs.
• Model conflict resolution and guide clients using de-escalation techniques.
• Maintain daily activity records in Salesforce and Microsoft Office; prepare incident reports.
• Communicate concerns and emergencies via Salesforce notes and emails.
• Administer medications in line with policy and document in the log.
• Build rapport through a calm, compassionate, professional presence.
