Job summary

The Shepherds Inn in Atlanta, GA invites a Community Living Assistant to join Atlanta Mission for a part-time 2nd shift (3:30pm-12am), 20-25 hours weekly. This essential role supports a safe, compassionate residential community and aligns with Christ-centered values.

Responsibilities include client supervision, orientations, incident documentation in Salesforce, medication support, and fostering a calm, collaborative living environment in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts and respond effectively to crises.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write clear reports.
• Experience in residential or community living environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client activity to maintain safety and compliance with house rules.
• Station in key areas to observe interactions and provide support.
• Conduct room checks and inspect belongings to identify contraband.
• Respond promptly to incidents and escalate when needed.
• Conduct orientation sessions and serve as a point of contact for client needs.
• Document daily activities and incidents in Salesforce and other tools.
