Job summary

The State of Georgia, Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, seeks a Client Support Worker for the Community Integration Home in Atlanta. This full-time role requires rotating weekends/holidays and offers holidays, 401k matching and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of job-related social or direct care experience preferred.
• Valid driver license is required.

Responsibilities

• Arrange for needed medical care and services to ensure care is obtained.
• Develop an individual service/treatment plan for each consumer.
• Counsel and advise residents on behavioral issues and daily decisions.
• Instruct residents on daily living skills in one-on-one or group settings.
• Observe and monitor resident behavior and progress.
