Job summary

Allied Universal in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a Security Officer for full-time shifts at a residential community. You will monitor entry points, verify access, assist residents and guests, and uphold safety procedures with a professional presence.

Key duties include patrolling grounds, maintaining logs, responding to incidents, and applying site-specific access-control policies. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred, along with customer service experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while following site access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorized access; document activity per procedures.
• Respond calmly to access concerns, resident requests, and incidents.
• Conduct regular/ random patrols of community grounds and parking areas.
• Maintain logs and reports; communicate security information to management.
