Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Nacogdoches, TX is seeking a Coil Winder for the 2nd shift. The role performs coil winding on Primary/Secondary machines, sets up equipment, and ensures accuracy and quality in production.

Responsibilities include operation of winding machines, measurement, labeling, and adherence to safety protocols (LOTO). The position requires a shift that may include overtime and adherence to 5S+ standards.

Qualifications

• Must be within 50 miles of the Nacogdoches, TX facility.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration visas for this position.
• Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks across Primary and/or Secondary machines.
• Identify coil part numbers and quantities from the schedule/work order ticket and input part numbers on the coil winding machine.
• Interpret winding specifications accurately.
• Set up coil winding machine per setup screen specifications.
• Install and adjust devices to meet window sizing specs.
• Measure materials and verify alignment.
• Feed materials and operate the winding machine at the required rate per hour.
• Label coils with appropriate IDs and numbers.
• Record scrap and dispose properly per guidelines.
• Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols for safety and energy control.
• Operate overhead cranes and hoisting equipment as needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and meet production targets.
• Adhere to 5S+ housekeeping and safety protocols.
