Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Coil Winder for the 2nd shift at our Nacogdoches, TX facility. Core hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Monday–Friday with mandatory overtime as needed. The role uses a computer-controlled coil winding machine to wind and insulate transformer coils and requires strict adherence to setup specifications and safety protocols. Compensation includes an hourly rate of $21.00 plus a $1.35 shift differential.

Qualifications

• - Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• - Comfortable working in hot environments and loud noises.
• - Ability to read and follow detailed setup instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate coil winding machines to wind and insulate transformer coils per specifications.
• Identify and input part numbers, set up mandrel size and accessories on equipment.
• Measure materials, verify alignment, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain machine setup, perform routine upkeep, and log scrap metal data.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout protocols and safety guidelines; operate overhead cranes as required.
