Good Samaritan in Kearney, NE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for evening, full-time shifts at St. John’s Center. The role supports long-term and post-acute care, delivering resident-centered care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.

The position requires CNA certification with the State Board, a minimum age of 16, and offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus plus robust benefits; evening hours from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm with every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or within four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist residents with transferring, repositioning, and walking using proper techniques; provide ROM and passive exercises as needed.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse and document care and outcomes in the chart.
