Good Samaritan's Bloomfield facility in Bloomfield, NE is seeking a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for evening shifts (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) at a 40-hour week. Nebraska CNA certification is required; high school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age 16; prior long-term care experience preferred.

You will provide resident-centered care under RN supervision, take vital signs, assist with daily living, and help with meals and mobility while adhering to infection control policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certification within four months of hire; CNA training and certification provided by the facility.
• Annual continuing education: minimum 12 hours; maintain required certifications.
• UAP Registry: may apply in applicable states.
• Possession of a valid driver license may be required depending on role.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Record vital signs and assist with daily living activities.
• Assist residents with meals, mobility, and personal care.
• Support infection prevention and PPE usage as per policy.
• Assist with documentation of resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to charge nurse.
