Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan Society provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in a long-term care setting, under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).

This full-time evening shift role requires CNA certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to perform essential health tasks, document care, and support wellness programs for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16 and prior clinical or nursing assistant exposure is helpful.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification with State Board or in process of certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes for RN review.
• Assist with transfers, range of motion, and routine vital signs.
• Support meals, dining experience, and wellness activities for residents.
