Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a 128-bed long-term care facility. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, documenting vital signs, and supporting broader nursing staff under RN supervision.

Evening shifts from 2:00pm to 10:15pm, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. A CNA certification, high school diploma or GED, and ongoing education are required, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Min. age 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process of certification within four months

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision
• Documents resident interactions and vitals; communicates changes to charge nurse
• Assists with transfers, mobility, ROM, showering, meals, and activities; supports wellness programs

Education
