Job summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves residents in long-term care, delivering resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will help with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and ensure infection prevention measures are followed.

Responsibilities include assisting with transfers, range of motion, meals, and documentation, while supporting wellness programs and a respectful, compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Minimum age 16.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining it.
• Maintains yearly department competency testing and at least 12 hours of continuing education annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, dining and mobility and record vital signs.
• Follow care plans and infection prevention policies; use PPE as required.
• Assist with transfers and ROM exercises; support wellness and recreational programs.
