Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certification within four months of date into the position by enrolled in training or certification process.

Responsibilities

Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to residents.
Assist with transferring, repositioning, and walking under RN supervision; provide range of motion and passive exercises.
Assist residents with meals and hydration, supporting a positive dining experience.
Document resident interactions and communicate changes in condition to the charge nurse; assist with wellness and recreational activities.
