Job summary

Cantata Adult Life Services, Brookfield, IL, seeks a PM Full-Time RA/CNA to provide non-medical care to residents according to service plans and facility procedures. You will work 2pm-10:30pm, with Week 1 and Week 2 schedules.

Base pay plus shift differentials are offered to reflect evening hours and responsibilities. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, and daily activities, maintaining safety, and documenting care activities.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing situations.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist new residents in orientation to apartments and common areas.
• Provide support to residents to remain independent.
• Assist with ADLs such as dressing, bathing, bed making, laundry, toileting, transferring, and light housekeeping.
• Assist with wheelchair transportation around the Woodlands and campus.
• Support activities on campus and in Woodlands, including transportation and event setup/cleanup.
• Provide medication reminders when included in the service package.
• Communicate resident information to AL Manager, Wellness Nurse, Lead Resident Assistant, and staff.
• Assist in dining room with food set-up and tray delivery.
• Maintain daily log of services for record keeping (paper/electronic).
• Build positive relationships and adapt to changing situations.
