Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed approved Personal Care Aide (PCA) program per state regulations.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist transfers.
• CPR/First Aid cert or willingness to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain resident environments.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Adhere to confidentiality policies and communicate resident status to the nursing team.
• Support move-in transitions and provide emotional support to new residents.
• Follow directions from nursing staff and participate in in-services as required.
