Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Extended Care North ICf, 32 hours per week, 3-11pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

You will assist patients with daily living activities, support the bedside nurse, take vital signs, and participate in shift reports. Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program.
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including dressing, feeding, bathing, or other hygiene needs.
• Assist the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations.
• Take vital signs, document status and administer treatments as directed by the RN.
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
