Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time evening role in Lincoln. The CNA will support residents in a long-term care setting, participate in shift handoffs, and assist nurses with daily patient care while maintaining a compassionate, professional demeanor.

Qualifications include Nebraska CNA certification in good standing and completion of the state-approved 75-hour training, with eligibility to work at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Successful completion of the 75-hour state approved nurse aide training program.
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs.
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations.
• Takes vital signs, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse.
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
