Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of a 75-hour state approved nurse aide training.
• Active Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in good standing in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including dressing, feeding, bathing or other hygiene needs.
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations.
• Takes vital signs, documents status and gives treatment as directed by RN.
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned.
