Job summary

Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for Extended Care North - ICF in Lincoln. The position is part-time, day shift, 8 hours per week, with Saturday & Sunday every other weekend and holiday rotation.

You will provide life-changing care in a long-term care setting and work closely with RNs and LPNs to support patients. The role requires completing a state-approved 75-hour CNA program and maintaining Nebraska CNA certification in good standing.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with state credentialing.
• Strong patient-focused care and communication skills.
• Ability to follow physician orders and care plans.

Responsibilities

• Attend shift report at beginning and end of each shift to ensure good communication between nursing members
• Assists patients with activities of daily living which may include dressing, feeding, bathing or any other hygiene needs
• Assists the bedside nurse (RN or LPN) with patient treatment and examinations
• Takes vital, documents status and gives treatment as directed by Registered Nurse
• Performs other related projects and duties as assigned
