Good Samaritan is a not-for-profit organization with a century of housing and services for seniors, committed to quality care in a Christian environment. This Nursing Assistant role supports resident-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Work is part-time with evening shifts (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and 16 hours per week, located in Albert Lea, MN. CNA certification is required and opportunities for professional development are offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 16.
• CNA certification required (state Board) or in process within 4 months via Endorsement.
• Must complete yearly department competency testing and maintain CE credits (12 hours annually).
• Possibly eligible as Sanford Category II Driver with valid license and driving policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to care, nutrition, and activity.
• Assists with transfers, positioning, ROM, and mobility with proper technique.
• Assists with meals, dining, hydration, and supplements; supports wellness and recreational programs.
