Job summary

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Allentown, PA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time evening shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, 20 hours per week) at the Raker Center. The role involves delivering basic nursing care under supervision of licensed nurses and maintaining a safe, dignified environment for residents.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor health, follow care plans, and support residents' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant credentials preferred.
• Basic Life Support / CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and grooming.
• Take vital signs and monitor residents' health status.
• Follow individualized care plans and report changes to the licensed staff.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment and proper infection control.
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Respect residents' rights and maintain confidentiality in all care activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
