Lutheran Senior Services in Allentown, PA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide daily supportive care to residents under supervision. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team, assisting with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and documentation while preserving dignity and safety.

This role requires physical stamina, adherence to infection control, and willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in applicable states or PA enrollment within 120 days.
• Experience in direct resident care preferred.
• Ability to communicate with residents and maintain professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily supportive and functional care to residents per procedures and nursing direction.
• Responds to resident call lights and requests; reports observations to the nurse.
• Assists with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Observes residents to identify changing needs and notifies the nurse.
• Participates in care/service plans to improve residents' lives.
• Assists with meals and feeds residents who need full assistance.
• Maintains meaningful relationships with residents and families; supportive and professional.
• Supports residents' involvement in daily activities and decision-making.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed staff guidance.
• Documents care provided in clinical records and maintains accuracy.
