Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant II to join our team of mission-driven caregivers. Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Nursing Assistant II collects and reports patient information, assists with daily living activities, and supports safe, compassionate care across diverse conditions.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; CT CNA training preferred or in progress toward a BA in Nursing/Health Sciences with at least one clinical completed or significant healthcare experience.
• Certification: CT Nurse Aide Registry certification required; BLS certification.
• Background: Ability to pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Collect and report patient information and data.
• Help patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility and ambulation.
• Patient transport.
• Collection of specimens.
• Distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms.
• Deliver ice and beverages to patients.
• Stay with at-risk patients to monitor patient safety.
