Good Samaritan is a not-for-profit organization providing housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. The Nursing Assistant supports residents with daily living activities and basic nursing tasks under RN supervision.

Evening shifts are available on a full-time schedule in Rapid City, SD. The role requires CNA certification and offers benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have CNA certification with the State Board.
• A path to certification within four months if in progress.
• Annual competency testing and continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and monitor health changes.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, and feeding.
• Document resident interactions and participate in care planning.
