Job summary

Redwood Cove Healthcare Center in Ukiah, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our caring team. You will provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nurses, assisting with daily living activities and monitoring health needs in a warm, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of California.
• Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Help residents with mobility and transfers.
• Assist with mealtime activities and feeding as needed.
• Document resident care activities and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of residents.
