Job summary

GREATPLAINS in seeks a licensed CNA to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with assessment and care plans. You will follow supervisor direction, assist with daily activities, and ensure resident comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include identifying residents for procedures, documenting accurately, and maintaining confidentiality. CPR is preferred, and education requirements include a 10th grade education and CNA licensure.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant per state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments using wristband or photo ID.
• Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts accurately.
• Report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily functions and personal care needs.
• Prepare residents for medical tests (lab work, x-ray, therapy, etc.).
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents.
