Job summary

West Gardena Post Acute in Gardena, California is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for full-time PM shift (3PM-11PM) to deliver individualized resident care. You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, and report changes to your supervisor.

Applicants must hold an active CA CNA certification and CPR certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (online CPR not accepted). Competitive compensation and benefits for full-time staff are offered.

Qualifications

• Current CA nursing assistant certification
• Current CPR certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross (online course certification not accepted)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor
• Promote quality services within company, state, and federal regulations
