Job summary

United Church of Christ Homes is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the evening shift (3pm–11pm) on a full-time basis in Carlisle, PA. The role supports residents with routine nursing care according to care plans and supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, taking vital signs, and reporting changes. Must hold PA CNA certification, be able to lift 50 lbs, and communicate in English; competitive benefits and shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• Must have PA CNA certification and be able to perform daily nursing tasks as per care plans.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; able to follow instructions accurately.
• Capacity to lift at least 50 pounds and assist residents with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living per care plans.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to supervisors.
• Support residents with mobility, bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Participate in shift handoffs and communicate care needs promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and observe infection control guidelines.
