Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support transfer and mobility tasks under RN supervision.

You will also help with meals, hygiene, and documentation while following infection prevention protocols. Qualifications include CNA certification and a minimum age of 16; GED or high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required and provided by facility.
• Minimum age of 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Annual continuing education: minimum 12 hours; maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and basic health care tasks.
• Record vital signs and report changes to charge nurse.
• Support transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Document care interactions and participate in infection control practices.
