Job summary

Milford Meadows Care Center in Nebraska is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. This position administers medications, monitors residents' health, and helps maintain a safe, supportive environment for residents.

The role offers part-time evening hours (2pm-10pm) with flexible scheduling. A current CMA certification and willingness to work in a skilled nursing setting are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CMA certification Nebraska required.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents; physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications per orders and document accurately.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, safe medication storage and follow infection control.
• Provide compassionate support and assist with resident needs.
• Collaborate with nurses and doctors to coordinate care plans.
