Job summary

Adept Nursing & Rehab of Sutherland is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications to residents under a licensed nurse's supervision in Sutherland, Nebraska.

The CMA will ensure safety and compliance, document administration, and support residents with daily needs. The position is part-time with competitive benefits and local incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Active CMA certification in NE.
• Current CNA certification in NE.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely per physician orders.
• Observe residents for side effects or reactions and report changes promptly.
• Document medication administration in accordance with facility policies.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and storage areas.
• Follow all state regulations and facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to all residents.

The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is responsible for administering medications to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, while ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in NE
• Current CNA certification in NE
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
