Job summary

Emerald Care Center Claremore in Claremore, Oklahoma, is seeking a compassionate Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our skilled nursing team. The CMA administers medications, monitors residents, and helps maintain a safe, supportive environment for our residents and their families.

Full-time role, Monday to Friday 2:45pm–11:15pm with an as-needed mindset. Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to lift and assist residents are essential competencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CMA certification as required by Oklahoma regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team collaboration.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications per physician orders and facility protocols with proper documentation.
• Monitor residents' conditions, vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain clean, organized medication storage and follow infection control procedures.
• Provide compassionate, respectful assistance to residents and families.
• Collaborate with nurses, doctors, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Complete all required documentation including MARs and incident reports.
