Job summary

Mitchell Care & Rehab Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to administer medications and monitor residents under supervision, ensuring safety and accuracy. You will maintain documentation, observe for adverse reactions, and communicate clearly with staff and families.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Valid CMA certification in Oklahoma required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Ability to react decisively in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by a physician under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Record all medication administration in the resident chart.
• Notify licensed staff when a resident reports pain and monitor vital signs as assigned.
• Take and record vital signs of residents as required by medications.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure resident safety and quality care.
