You will maintain accurate medical records and verify patient identity, documenting time and dose on resident charts, while observing for ingestion and applying treatments per protocol.

The role is Monday–Friday, with standard LTC duties and a focus on patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Certified medication administration credential per state law.
• Long-term care experience is preferred.

Objective

Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations 1to residents and maintains related medical records under supervision of Nurse Supervisor.

Principal Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with approved techniques and notes time and amount on resident’s chart.
• Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms and records.
• Presents medication to residents and observes ingestion or other application, or administers medication, using specified procedures.
• Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.

Qualifications

• Certified as required by state law.
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred
