Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking part-time (adjunct) Clinical Laboratory Technology faculty to teach face-to-face classes with remote opportunities in the Dayton, OH area.

The position offers evening teaching slots with starting pay of $1,046 per credit hour assigned to teach. Official transcripts and a background check are required; ASCP credential and prior teaching experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in clinical laboratory technology is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• ASCP credential is required.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty teach curriculum developed by the department.
• Plan and organize instruction to maximize student learning.
• Prepare and provide syllabi for all assigned sections per policies.
• Employ teaching strategies and use instructional technology.
• Adapt methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Support classroom and online efforts to promote student success.
• Evaluate and return student work promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Submit final grade rosters by deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Do not exceed 12 credit hours per semester.

Education

Associate's degree in clinical laboratory technology
