Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex laboratory procedures with accuracy and precision, following standard procedures and recognizing deviations from expected results.
• Reviews and evaluates accuracy of lab data and reports patient results with documentation.
• Performs, records and evaluates quality control data including expiration dates and QC documentation.
• Maintains and calibrates laboratory instruments and equipment as assigned.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and follows protocol.
