Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex lab procedures accurately following procedures.
• Review and evaluate lab data; report results with complete documentation.
• Perform and document quality control; check expirations and QC performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment as assigned.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with ordering; receive and unpack supplies.
• Instruct and train employees and students; assess staff competency.
• Communicate pertinent information to staff, management, and divisions.
• Cover different shifts to guarantee patient care.
