Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Technologist to join our RTP, NC facility. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm. You will determine acceptability of specimens, perform complex procedures, and monitor instrumentation to ensure accurate results, supporting quality patient care.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science. ASCP/AMT certification is preferred, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology.
• Experience in clinical laboratory testing preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to SOPs.
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
• Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE.
