Job summary

The City of Casper is seeking a dependable Custodian to help keep City Hall clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors. The evening shift starts at 5:00 p.m. with a consistent schedule and opportunities to contribute to a tidy, safe environment.

Daily duties include sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, restroom cleaning, restocking supplies, and maintaining custodial equipment. The role may involve light maintenance, event setup/teardown, inventory, and safety checks.

Qualifications

• Oral and written communication sufficient to exchange or convey information and to provide and receive work direction.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies and maintaining custodial equipment.
• May participate in light maintenance, event setup and teardown, supply inventory, and facility safety checks.
• Runs errands to various city locations for supplies and recyclables disposal.
• Locks/unlocks facilities and secures buildings when not in use.
• Provides general customer service and communicates with the public regarding facility policies and fees.
