Job summary

Laramie County is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain offices, hallways and common areas under close supervision. The role requires attention to detail, proper use of cleaning equipment, and adherence to safety practices.

You will collect trash, dust surfaces, vacuum, sweep and mop floors, disinfect restrooms, and report maintenance needs. Evening availability 6-10 PM on Monday through Friday is required and you will work with staff and the public as needed.

Qualifications

• Evening availability 6-10 PM (Mon-Fri) is required.
• Experience with general cleaning tasks is preferred.
• Knowledge of safety practices is required.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work with colleagues and the public.

Responsibilities

• Collects and removes trash in all offices and work areas.
• Cleans, dusts and wipes surfaces such as desks, blinds, countertops, tables.
• Vacuums carpets and furniture with commercial vacuums.
• Sweeps and mops floors in rooms and halls.
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms and refills dispensers.
• Identifies areas needing maintenance or extra cleaning.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
