Job summary

US&S is seeking a reliable Janitor/Custodian to serve City Hall in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on keeping facilities sanitary, organized, and safe, with duties such as cleaning, dusting, and restrooms upkeep.

You will mop and vacuum floors, clean furniture and fixtures, empty trash, and report hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors. When needed you may assist with floor finishing and other detail work.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass background screening.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening tests.
• Ability to pass requirements to obtain a security badge, as needed by the client.
• Authorization to work in the US as per the E-Verify database.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned areas including bathrooms, sinks, toilets, tubs/showers and fixtures.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and stairs.
• Report hazardous conditions and safety issues to supervision.
• Follow infection control procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist coworkers and supervisor to complete tasks as needed.
