Scholastic, Inc. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Cherry Picker / Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Odenton, MD for the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM). Pay starts at $19.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be trained and licensed to operate power equipment.
• Minimum 1 year power equipment operation experience for non-internal promotions.
• Must demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate battery-operated and/or gas-powered equipment to move inventory within the facility.
• Follow all safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory movement and cycle counts.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks and seasonal inventory resets.
• Keep work area neat, clean, and organized at all times.
• Support in packing, picking, and processing of customer orders as needed.
