Job summary

New Hope Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a compassionate RN or LVN to join our team as Charge Nurse from 2pm to 10pm. You will provide direct patient care, oversee nursing assistants, and ensure residents receive high-quality care.

You will develop individualized care plans, collaborate with physicians and therapists, maintain accurate records, and participate in quality improvement while upholding confidentiality and residents' rights.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved school of vocational or professional nursing
• Current state license as a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a nursing setting
• Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a group to deliver high-quality care to residents and their families

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing assistants to ensure that all residents receive necessary care and attention
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other caregivers, to ensure that all residents receive comprehensive, coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement activities to continuously improve the quality of care provided
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to patient confidentiality and rights
