Job summary

New Hope Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation in Cedar Park, Texas, is seeking a compassionate RN or LVN to join as Charge Nurse for the 2pm-10pm shift. You will oversee daily nursing operations and ensure residents receive high-quality care.

Ideal candidates are licensed in Texas, graduates of approved nursing programs, and able to supervise nursing assistants, coordinate care with physicians, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state-approved nursing program.
• Current Texas licensure as RN or LVN.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing assistants to ensure residents receive necessary care and attention.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet each resident's needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to continually improve care quality.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and patient confidentiality and rights.
