Job summary

New Hope Manor in Cedar Park, Texas seeks an RN or LVN to join as Charge Nurse for the 2pm-10pm shift. You will oversee daily nursing department operations and ensure high-quality resident care.

The role requires a state-approved nursing program graduate and active RN or LVN license. You will mentor nursing staff, coordinate care with the healthcare team, and ensure regulatory compliance in a supportive, family-like environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in Cedar Park, Texas. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents, overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department, and ensuring that all residents receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing assistants to ensure that all residents receive necessary care and attention
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other caregivers, to ensure that all residents receive comprehensive, coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including assessments, treatments, and outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement activities to continuously improve the quality of care provided
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, including those related to patient confidentiality and rights

Requirements:

• Graduate of a state-approved school of vocational or professional nursing
• Current state license as a registered nurse or licensed vocational nurse
• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a nursing setting
• Ability to work effectively and harmoniously in a group to deliver high-quality care to residents and their families
